Through their enthusiasm and unwavering commitment to our beloved hospital, we continued to strengthen care in Uxbridge and move closer to the future our community deserves.

And the numbers don’t lie. In 2024, more than 450 new donors stepped up to support our cause. Over that same time, more than 2,500 gifts were made in support of our greatest needs today and our vision for what health care in our community can look like tomorrow.

We also saw neighbours coming together to give back like never before. From returning events like Swing into Spring to new events and programs like our Music for Ux series and the Catch the Ace raffle, we saw what was possible when we work together. In fact, we achieved record-breaking success with the inaugural Celebrity Ice Classic, which raised $500,000 — the most ever raised for an Uxbridge Hospital Foundation event to date.

This overwhelming support is the driving force behind what will be one of our most significant milestones yet: the redevelopment of Uxbridge Hospital. With early works now approved to proceed, this once-in-a-generation project will transform Uxbridge Hospital into a single, integrated “campus of care,” enhancing the overall patient experience, improving care close to home and meeting the evolving needs of our community for generations to come.

But without the support of our donors—whether patients, family members, physicians, staff, or passionate community members—none of this remarkable progress would be possible. This work also relies on the tireless efforts of our volunteers and board members, whose time, leadership, and dedication continue to guide and elevate everything we do.

As we reflect on this incredible past year, we are also looking ahead to another year of exciting milestones for our beloved community hospital, where our community can enjoy even more opportunities to get involved in Uxbridge’s bright, healthy future. And with every dollar raised, every event participated in, and every show of support, our Foundation remains committed to shaping a brighter future for our patients, our families, and Uxbridge.
